  • Receive timely attention in health institutions that comply with all the conditions of infrastructure, hygiene and safety.

  • Choose or change your professional for your care and receive a second medical opinion if you wish, taking into account the resources of the institution.
  • Access prevention programs and campaigns to control the consumption of tobacco and alcohol, as well as physical activities and consumption of healthy foods.
  • Participate or not in investigations carried out by qualified personnel, in which the objectives, methods, benefits and foreseeable risks are explained.
  • Receive palliative care when your state of health requires it, depending on the reduction of pain and suffering associated with the disease and treatments.
  • Every patient has the right to die with dignity, with total control of pain and to respect his will to allow the process of death to run its course in the terminal phase of his illness.
  • That the health sector authorities, of national and territorial order, exercise vigilance and control, in order to guarantee comprehensive care.
  • Affiliate with your family and maintain the current affiliation, according to the social security system in health, to the contributory or subsidized regime as appropriate. In this way it fosters the integral care of your health and that of your family.
  • Provide the health team in a timely, clear and truthful the complete and detailed information of their symptoms, their past illnesses, hospitalizations and / or previous surgeries, the medications they are taking and all those aspects related to their health.
  • Comply with the rules, regulations and instructions of the institution, focused on the safety of the user and his family.
  • Take care of the facilities, the endowment and make good use of the resources. Respect the property of others, leaving in its place the elements of common use.

  • Assume with responsibility and commitment the care of your health, your family and the community, taking care of the treatment plan ordered by the doctor, attending the scheduled appointments, as well as complying with the additional care recommended by the health personal.
  • Present the day of the appointment: current order of the EPS and the material requested by the health staff of the Institution.
